About Us
Andale Cantina Bar & Grill brings the flavors of Mexico to North Liberty, Iowa. Our recipes come from co-owner Emilio Estrada’s hometown of La Piedad and the surrounding region, and we cook them the traditional way. We want every plate to taste like a home-cooked meal shared with family.
Our menu ranges from sizzling fajitas and molcajetes to street tacos, burritos, and tortas. Each plate comes with Mexican rice, creamy refried beans, and fresh salsas. Our full bar pours margaritas and cold Mexican beers, and our daily specials keep regulars coming back to try something new.
Andale Cantina is the sister restaurant to Andale Andale in Coral Ridge Mall, a local favorite since 2016. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, grabbing dinner with the family, or meeting friends for happy-hour drinks, we’re glad to have you at our table.

I usually don’t write reviews but I have to make review for restaurant!! Everything is perfect food was really authentic and they have some special menus that you won’t find in different mexican restaurants!! I love it!! I don’t understand why this place is not popular this place deserves more popularity. I hope this place was near my house I would go there at least once a week.

What a great restaurant! The inside has vibrant and colorful decor. My waitress was amazing and did a great job with service. I got the Baja Tacos, and they didn't disappoint! I chose the corn tortillas for my tacos, and they were perfect. The shrimp was a great size, and the pickled cabbage had an amazing taste and added amazing color. It comes with a side of salsa verde and a chipotle sauce that are both yummy!

Very attractive, small Mexican restaurant in a shopping center in North Liberty. The food is both more attractively presented and better tasting than your typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Many traditional favorites are missing from the menu, but there are a wide variety of excellent choices you won't find elsewhere. My wife and I enjoyed the Chori-Pollo and the Conchinita Pibil.
